A Message From Our CEO Coronavirus continues to challenge how we’re all living our lives right now, not least as we adjust to a further national lockdown to help get the pandemic under control. Throughout it all, Post Office has been there for communities across the UK. As an essential service, our postmasters and support teams have worked tirelessly to keep open and trading in over 90% of our network locations. I want to say thank you to them all for their energy and resilience since March. And to you, our customers, for continuing to use our services and abiding by social distancing rules. Recent news of vaccine rollouts gives us increased hope for the months ahead. But I’d ask you to keep up the resolve for now, wearing a mask and staying two metres apart in our branches. And please treat our colleagues with respect. Our branches remain busy with customers relying on us to stay connected with loved ones and keep their businesses trading. Please keep looking out for one another, follow the health and safety guidance and stay well. We're Stronger Together

We’re standing up to domestic abuse! We’re the first to adopt Royal Mai’s & UK's Says No More ‘Online Safe Spaces’ digital portal, which provides support for victims of domestic abuse. The portal provides a variety of helpful support. It also features a quick exit button and leaves no internet history, ensuring the safety of those using the service.
Every year, International Men’s Day (19 November) in the UK is marked by more and more women, men and organisations across the country. The three core themes for International Men’s Day in the UK are: •Making a positive difference to the wellbeing and lives of men and boys •Raising awareness and/or funds for charities supporting men and boys’ wellbeing •Promoting a positive conversation about men, manhood and masculinity. To mark this year, we asked a number of male colleagues for some of their thoughts on the impact of the pandemic on men’s mental health. As a business, we take mental health seriously and encourage our people to talk about it especially now during these difficult times.

The Be You network brings together a group of like-minded colleagues, passionate about empowering people to feel they can be themselves at work. The group has been focused on helping to improve the way the business manages disability, mental health and wellbeing, as well as celebrating diversity and sharing inspiring stories. The group’s aspiration is to empower every individual at Post Office to be proud of who they are, no matter their situation. Mission: •To provide an inclusive environment at the Post Office which focuses on the strengths of those with disabilities, including invisible disabilities and mental health. •To increase awareness about the positive relationship between disability inclusion and business success through building an understanding of disability, allowing every employee to thrive. •To reduce stigma and discrimination and have a positive influence on disability rights and the identity of people with disabilities.
