Meet Katie Medina, Independent Contractor Contract Compliance Specialist at Terminal 131 and this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight! Katie was a 911 dispatcher before she made the transition to trucking. We’re excited to have her as part of our team and to provide her with the stability to raise her family and advance her career. Katie loves the logistical work she performs on a daily basis, like the planning and organization aspects of trucking. Her most memorable moment at QC happened on her birthday last year, when her teammates made her feel really special. Meet Shelley Rodd, Customer Service Representative at the Albany terminal and this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight! Shelley has been with QC for over nine years and enjoys working with her teammates to meet the needs of our valued customers and Professional Drivers. Terminal Manager Kathy Habesch shared, “Shelley is a great communicator and finds solutions that work for all parties.” Shelley’s most memorable moment so far working at QC has to be a teammate's retirement party. The team decorated the office and everyone he ever worked with showed up. Shelley, thank you for all you do for QC!

Meet Marcia Rearick, Operations Manager at T159 and this week's QC Women Wednesday Highlight! Marcia grew up in trucking because of her dad and started her career in the trucking industry 16 years ago as an administrative assistant through a temp agency. Within the first couple of months, she was hired on through the company as a dispatcher. Every day, her role as an Operations Manager presents her with new and unique challenges, and she enjoys it. Marcia's favorite memory so far at QC was Driver Appreciation Week in 2023. Seeing the smiles and happiness on our drivers' faces when they received their gifts and giveaways was truly heart-warming for Marcia. Thank you, Marcia, for all your work and dedication to our drivers and the entire QC team!

Meet Janea George, Independent Contractor through QC’s Lease Purchase Program and this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight! Janea began her career in the trucking industry by attending a driving program at her local community college and followed her ambition to own her own tractor. Janea enjoys working with her teammates of Professional Drivers and when her colleagues ask for help she is there for them. When Anastasia was younger, her father drove an 18 wheeler and she would sit in the cabin calling "Breaker Breaker 19 - What's your 20" when he was home. Meet Rosario Solis, this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight! In 1996, Rosario started her career in trucking working for a steel company. In 2019, Rosario joined QC as a company driver dispatcher. In 2020, Rosario became a regional company driver manager for terminal 107 and terminal 187. During her time at terminal 187, Rosario has also been the Operations Manager and currently is the Terminal Manager. Rosario’s favorite part about working at QC is her Professional Drivers coming together to help each other out. She enjoys working with her shop and office teammates. Meet Jennifer Levesque, this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight! Jennifer started her career in the trucking industry as a billing specialist, transitioned to dispatch, and is now a Driver Manager. Jennifer enjoys solving a different challenge every day and working with Professional Drivers, customers and vendors. Jennifer’s favorite memory at QC has been participating in Wreaths Across America, where a truck load of wreaths were transported to be placed on military headstones at Saratoga National Cemetery in NY. This month’s employee spotlight is Tammy Aldridge, Load Planner and Customer Service Representative at QC for over 20 years. In 1991, Tammy started working part-time in the trucking industry alongside her sister who was a dispatcher. Tammy enjoys working with all her teammates and customers at QC. Operations Manager, Robert Holcomb, shared “Tammy is always ready to assist team members in accomplishing tasks and she provides support to the new team members. She has an amazing working relationship with all of our customers that stems from years of daily interaction.” Tammy’s most memorable moments at QC revolve around Driver Appreciation Week.
