Meet Tricia Grisham, this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight! Tricia started her career in trucking as a Billing Trainer and is now the Manager of Process Improvement for Quality Carriers. Tricia enjoys many aspects of her work, whether it’s learning something new, meeting new teammates, or attending driver school to learn more about the process of what our drivers go through on a daily basis. Catherine Chen, Director of Finance, shared “Tricia is extremely important to the Finance team. She always provides great customer service with her knowledge and insights to our terminals.” Thank you for all you do for QC, Tricia!

Meet Amber Harbold, this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight! Amber started her career in trucking as a Dispatcher with an affiliate of Quality Carriers 17 years ago and is now the Terminal Manager for T196. Amber shared, “I enjoy the daily challenges the trucking industry throws at me and love problem-solving to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.” Over the past years, Amber has had many memorable experiences at QC. Her top two are taking a few of the drivers to her son's preschool for Touch-A-Truck and Confined Space Training, along with being able to experience entering a tanker. Amber, thank you for all you do for QC and our Professional Drivers.

Meet Samantha Hauser, Terminal Manager at 156, this week’s QC Women Wednesday highlight! Samantha has been around the trucking industry since she was young because her dad was a truck driver in the Army. She started her career with an affiliate and transitioned from Independent Contractor Contract Compliance Specialist to Terminal Manager for Quality Carriers. Operations Director, Jason Stephens, shared “Regardless of the daily challenges Samantha and the team face, she brings an upbeat infectious energy each day that makes her an excellent leader within QC.” Samantha enjoys that every day is different at the terminal. Her most memorable moments so far working at QC have revolved around traveling to terminals helping with affiliate conversations and cross training with others. Samantha, thank you for all you do for QC and our Professional Drivers!

Meet Janina Velasquez, this week's QC Women Wednesday highlight! Janina has been an accountant for over eight years and is the Senior Accountant at Quality Carriers. Director of Accounting Operations, Zach Schelp, shared “Janina has considerably cut down the number of hours it takes the accounting department to close the month.” Janina's favorite memory of working at QC was her first month-end close combined with having a supportive and inspiring team. Janina, thank you for all you do for the accounting team and QC!

Meet Diane Heckman, this week's QC Women Wednesday highlight! In 1997, Diane started her career in the trucking industry as a secretary and worked her way up into an assistant terminal manager position. In 2000, Diane joined her husband’s trucking company and became a part-owner until 2013 when she started working with a QC affiliate terminal. Currently, Diane is the Terminal Manager at Quality Carriers for T116. She shared, “It gives me great satisfaction to know that I can be a leader and team player with everyone while making a difference in their lives.” Diane is passionate about making sure everyone feels like they play an integral role as a part of a great team. Diane has created many memorable moments at QC, but one that stands out to her is that during the 2020 lockdown, all of the terminal managers were on scheduled calls to make sure everyone was doing well and that all had what was needed to stay safe. In those moments she saw what it meant to be “Terminal Strong”. Diane, thank you for all you do for QC and our Professional Drivers!

This month’s employee spotlight is Nicholas Beck, the Senior Accountant who takes the lead in keeping Quality Carriers in accordance with GAAP! Director of Accounting Operations, Zach Schelp, shared “Nick is an extremely efficient team member who took over Fixed Asset accounting at QC in 2022 and knocked it out of the park.” Nick, thank you for all you do for the accounting team and QC!

Meet this week’s Women Wednesday highlight: Shelbie Rainer! In 2016, Shelbie started her career in trucking as Terminal 134’s biller, and eventually became the Terminal Manager. Shelbie shared, "I have the absolute best support system between my team at the terminal, our drivers, the Texas region Terminal Managers and Director." Shelbie's favorite memory so far working at QC has been hosting RSI training with the La Porte Police Department. The day was filled with hands-on training for terminal staff and drivers on RSI Level 1 inspections. Shelbie, thank you for all you do for the terminal and our Professional Drivers!

Meet Joni Muskwinsky, this week’s Women Wednesday highlight! Joni got started in trucking by loading pneumatic trailers and now works as a Driver Manager at terminal 132. Joni has gone above and beyond and takes the initiative when she sees something that can be fixed or needs attention. Lance Sitton, Terminal Manager, shared “Joni cares about the people she works with: whether they be in the office, over the road, or in the shop. She treats them with respect and the utmost consideration both professionally and personally.” Joni, thank you for all you do for the terminal and our Professional Drivers!

Meet Diocelina Arellano, a member of the Quality Carriers Marketing team! In her role, Diocelina helps create social media marketing materials and maintains QC’s brand through digital marketing. Justin Lyles, the Marketing Manager at QC, shared “Diocelina is a wonderful asset to the Marketing Team with a fantastic work ethic and desire to learn.” Diocelina’s favorite memory at QC is traveling out to the field to gather footage for marketing materials where she can get to know our Professional Drivers, terminal teammates and mechanics. She specifically enjoys finding out how her teammates got started in trucking. Diocelina, thank you for all you do for QC!
