We are excited to announce that Spring for Kids, our annual family and youth empowerment fundraiser, is officially underway! This year, 100% of the funds raised over the course of the fundraiser will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA)—a national, nonprofit organization which provides programs and services to promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by installing a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. We understand strong, positive relationships can make the difference for children facing adversity, and the BGCA is there to help. This past year has created additional hardships, including food insecurity and trauma, for our nation’s children. Congratulations to Cathy Skula, EVP and Chief Development Officer, who is a featured panelist at the 2021 National Diversity and Leadership Conference, as part of the Women Who Lead session. Cathy oversees strategic development for all of the company’s business lines, and leads the company’s subsidiary, Rent-A-Center Franchising International, Inc., with approximately 500 franchised locations nationwide operating under the brands Rent-A-Center, ColorTyme and RimTyme. Since its inception, the National Diversity and Leadership Conference has made great strides in advocating for inclusive workplaces. Jason began his career with Rent-A-Center as an Account Manager in August 2003. After moving up the ranks, he was promoted to a District Manager in 2006. Jason has consistently been a top performer over the last several years. He is most proud of training and developing three Store Managers to become District Managers as well as the growth of his district over the last five years. In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, ages 10, 12, 19 and 22. He and his family are excited for their move to Kansas City and the next chapter in his career with Rent-A-Center. #growth #leadership #Rentacenter
