Even before times of required social distancing, forensic engineers and consultants sometimes encountered physically inaccessible site locations. Rimkus Property Consultants are prepared to perform virtual site inspections utilizing technology such as video call capabilities and camera-equipped track crawling robots to investigate in accessible locations. Virtual site inspections may allow for faster site documentation, meaning consultants can evaluate a space as soon as is practical before physical conditions change. They may also efficiently provide answers to questions, resulting in a faster resolution. Click below to learn more about the capabilities of our Property Division.
In honor of National Volunteer Week, we’re highlighting Rimkus team members who are making a difference in their communities. Today we’re recognizing the efforts of Rimkus Corporate Travel Coordinator Iris Fernandez. Earlier this year, Iris set a goal to raise $600.00 for children’s cancer research. She joined the efforts of St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charitable organization that collects resources for this important mission by encouraging fundraisers to shave their heads for donations. Iris, along with other participants around the world, planned to shave her head on St. Patrick’s Day. Unfortunately, due to social distancing efforts regarding the current global health crisis, the head-shaving event was canceled this year. That didn’t stop Iris! She ultimately raised more than $1000.00 and participated in Virtual Shave 2020, a distance-conscious event that allowed Iris to participate from the safety of her home environment. We think she looks awesome! We are proud to have Iris in the Rimkus family. Thank you for your contributions to your community.

NHS Nightingale Hospitals are temporary critical care centers that have been established in England as part of the response to the current global pandemic. As a clinical porter on the night shift, Mick and his team are helping the hospital to continue running smoothly by processing admissions from the ambulance bays and delivering equipment and resources to the nursing teams in each ward. We are proud to have Mick in the Rimkus family. Thank you for your contributions to your community.
In honor of National Volunteer Week, we’re highlighting Rimkus team members who are making a difference in their communities. Today we’re recognizing the efforts of the Rimkus Ohio offices. They’ve sponsored the Cincinnati Honorable Order of the Blue Goose pond (chapter) for more than seven years and have contributed their time, funds, and efforts to the organization’s charitable activities. Cleveland and Columbus District Manager Nathan Walker and his wife, Katie, volunteer annually at the Blue Goose Monte Carlo Night, selling tickets and offering general assistance wherever needed. This event benefits local charities, families, and individuals in need, with 2020’s efforts raising more than $17,000 for Maslow’s Army, local charity group serving Cincinnati’s homeless population. Nathan, we are proud to have you and your team as part of the Rimkus family (and Katie as part of our extended family!). Thank you for your contributions to your community.
