Our UHealth at Doral project team was excited to welcome students from the Florida International University Moss Department of Construction Management for a site tour. Students got an inside look at the complexities of the six-story, 160,000-square-foot medical center being built in Downtown Doral. When it opens, UHealth at Doral will include 33 exam rooms, eight operating rooms, three endoscopy suites, 33 cancer treatment units, comprehensive radiology services, a lab, an onsite pharmacy, a seven-story parking garage, and a supporting central energy plant. The project is scheduled for completion this fall. #BeATrueBuilder

Iva Esteves is currently working as a construction coordinator on our UHealth at Doral project, a six-story, 160,000-square-foot medical center in South Florida. But she didn't start there. Iva began her career at 20 years old as an administrative assistant, and with a special drive and the help of some mentors along the way, she is thriving in construction. As we celebrate Women in Construction Week, Iva is gearing up to graduate from Robins & Morton’s Barbara Wilson Mentoring Program, which helps our team members in support roles transition to operations opportunities. Read about Iva's inspiring journey, how she's gotten to this point, and what's next for her: bit.ly/3T64tSb

During American Heart Month, we want to give a special shoutout to a Robins & Morton champion for heart health – Marketing Manager Alex DeBernardi. Alex works in our Nashville office and volunteers for the annual Greater Nashville Heart Walk, often sharing the story of her late brother, Grady. Grady suffered from coronary disease and passed away at the young age of 36. Alex’s mission is to spread awareness about the impact of heart conditions. Thank you, Alex, for your impact and for your willingness to share with our community.
