Today, we are incredibly proud to share that Daniel del Olmo has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Sage Hospitality Group. Over the past six years, Daniel has been an integral part of our leadership team, helping guide our associates, strengthen our partnerships and shape the future of our company. He leads with clarity, conviction and a deep belief in our people. That belief makes all the difference. Walter Isenberg will step into the role of Executive Chairman of the Board, and Zack Neumeyer will serve as Chairman Emeritus and Vice Chairman of the Board. Both remain actively engaged in our long-term direction and continued growth. As the torch passes from one remarkable leader to the next, we carry forward the foundation that was built with heart and vision and the confidence to lead boldly into what comes next. Our purpose remains unchanged. We will continue enriching lives, one experience at a time, and creating distinctive spaces rooted in the communities we serve.
Last week in Chicago, hundreds of leaders from our portfolio across the country came together for the 2026 Sage Leadership Festival. It was a week of learning, reflection and celebration as leaders from across Sage gathered to share ideas, challenge one another to grow and strengthen the relationships that power our company. We heard powerful insights from Brené Brown and Lance Armstrong, along with perspectives from many of our own leaders about what leadership requires in today’s world. We also had the opportunity to celebrate and recognize the incredible work happening across our portfolio every day. The festival also marked an important moment in our journey as Daniel del Olmo stepped into the role of President & CEO, continuing Sage’s legacy of bold leadership and people-first hospitality. Thank you to every associate, partner and leader who helped make this year’s festival unforgettable.
We’re honored to have been named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Culture, Belonging & Community 2026 by Newsweek! At Sage, culture is not something we just talk about. It’s something we live. We believe that when people feel supported, respected, and connected, they do their best work and create extraordinary experiences that enrich the lives of their guests and communities. This recognition reflects the care our associates show one another every day, the values that guide how we lead, and the belief that belonging fuels growth. It also marks our third consecutive year being recognized by Newsweek for workplace excellence, reinforcing our commitment to building places where people truly belong. We’re proud of this moment and deeply grateful to the people who make Sage what it is.
At Sage, we believe bold leadership starts with courage and connection. That’s why we’re beyond excited to announce that Dr. Brené Brown will join us as keynote speaker for the 2026 Sage Leadership Festival. Happening this February at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago, the Festival brings together our hospitality leaders from across the country for a week of learning, connection and inspiration. Dr. Brown’s research has changed how the world thinks about vulnerability and strength, and together we’ll explore what it truly means to Lead Boldly as we continue enriching lives, one experience at a time.
Sage showed up strong at The Hospitality Show, hosted earlier this week by the American Hotel & Lodging Association and Hotel Management Magazine in Denver. One of the standout moments? Sports tourism is booming—and Sage is proud to be at the heart of it. We’re honored to be featured in the current cover story of Hotel Business, which explores how hospitality brands are creating meaningful connections at the intersection of sports, travel, and community. The story spotlights The Rally Hotel and McGregor Square—our dynamic Denver destination developed in partnership with the Colorado Rockies. As our CEO Walter Isenberg shares, this project was always about more than 82 home games. Together with Rockies owner Dick Monfort, we set out to create a 365-day-a-year experience that seamlessly blends hospitality, entertainment, and local spirit. With more than 200 events annually, from ice skating and movie nights to corporate activations and symphony performances, The Rally and McGregor Square represent what we do best at Sage: create places people go to, not through. A huge thank you to Hotel Business for the feature—and to our partners, associates, and guests who bring this space to life year-round.
