This past holiday season, Seaboard Marine partnered with Miami-Dade County Mayor, Daniella Levine Cava, and PortMiami to distribute holiday presents to nonprofit organizations throughout the county. During our annual holiday toy drive, Seaboard Marine collected and donated over 800 new unwrapped toys plus $1,000 worth of gift cards which were given to Kristi House, Lotus House, and other nonprofit organizations in Miami-Dade County to distribute to less fortunate children in our community over the coming days. Chris Concepcion, Senior Marketing Manager, said, “Seaboard Marine was eager to support PortMiami’s call to give back to our community this holiday season. The PortMiami team is always motivated to make a positive impact on South Florida which leaves the door open for all kinds of uplifting possibilities.” Levine Cava said, “We are truly grateful to partner with Seaboard Marine and applaud them for their generosity in donating hundreds of new unwrapped toys for children across Miami-Dade County.”

Seaboard Marine recently partnered with PortMiami to support a local food drive in Downtown Miami to benefit families impacted by the economic fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic. As an essential link in furthering trade throughout the Western Hemisphere, we have a direct impact on the lives of millions of people every day. We embrace this responsibility, which is why we are committed to more than good business practices and are committed to making a difference wherever we serve. The recent collaboration with PortMiami as well as other local partners, is a part of a broader initiative to provide more support to our communities through more frequent local outreach. As such, Seaboard Marine pledges its commitment to participate through volunteerism, donations, and other such efforts.
