SharkNinja supported The Shoebox Project by preparing 100 shoeboxes to donate to Rosie's Place. This included filling the boxes with needed items, wrapping the boxes, and writing/designing warm messages to go inside. We had so much fun connecting with our colleagues and giving back to those in need. The Shoebox Project was founded in 2011 after noticing there were many opportunities to provide gifts to children experiencing homelessness during the holiday season, but there were no such gift drives for their mothers. Their mission is to share empathy, kindness, and compassion with local women impacted by homelessness through collection and distribution of gift-filled Shoeboxes and messages of support. Their vision is a world where all women are seen, valued, and treated with dignity and compassion. The Shoebox Project strives to promote equity and inclusion through their gift drives. Though their primary focus is on working with local shelters, they deliver gifts and other in-kind donations to any community service agency that serves women who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.
