Last week, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion at #SonyPics hosted a happy hour on the Culver City Studio Lot to celebrate our Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs) â employee-led communities with a shared identity or interest. Tony Vinciquerra (Chairman & CEO, Sony Pictures Entertainment), Stacy Green (EVP & Chief People Officer), Paul Martin (Chief Diversity Officer) and Autumn Abadie (D&I Manager & EBRG Program Lead) recognized EBRG leaders for their dedication to building community and creating business impact across Sony Pictures. Additionally, Jason Reitman, director of âGhostbusters: Afterlife,â along with co-writer Gil Kenan and actors Ernie Hudson and Logan Kim, voiced support for the efforts of our EBRG leaders and invited them to participate in the Ecto-Fest event celebrating #GhostbustersDay!

Last week, #SonyPics held the 2022 Easterseals Disability Film Challenge Awards Ceremony on the studio lot. Nonprofit disability services provider and disability inclusion resource Easterseals Southern California honored the best of this yearâs record-breaking applicants. The award ceremony kicked off with an exciting red carpet which featured nominees, guests and the nightâs presenters including Sony Picturesâ own Josh Greenstein (President, Sony Picturesâ Motion Picture Group) Paul Raci (Sound of Metal), Rick Glassman (As We See It), Sue Ann Pien (As We See It), Albert Rutecki (As We See It), Max Borenstein (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Blake Stadnik (This is Us), producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), Danielle Perez (comedian), Jillian Mercado (model), Diana Elizabeth Jordan (Boxed Out) and Nic Novicki, creator of the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge. What an extraordinary night!

Alongside the cast of âYour Name Engraved Hereinâ and LGBTQ+ influencer Tina, Sony Pictures Employees joined over 130,000 people marching in one of the biggest Pride parades with the outbreak contained. We applaud the theme of this yearâs event âBeauty, My Own Wayâ and continue to stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ colleagues across the globe, who celebrate Pride in a variety of ways this year.
