We’re proud to recognize Pride Month and the many perspectives that make our teams stronger. At Sound, we’re grateful for the dedication, compassion, and individuality our colleagues and clinicians bring to caring for patients and supporting one another every day.
This Women’s Health Month, our focus is on awareness and support for our colleagues, our clinicians, and the women our teams care for every day. By encouraging women to know their numbers and increasing awareness of the disparities that impact women’s health, we support healthier, more informed lives. Together, we strengthen our ability to take care of ourselves, support one another, and continue providing thoughtful and high-quality care to our patients.
Critical care takes a team. Today, we wear blue to honor the physicians, APPs, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and care partners whose collaboration guides patients through their most critical moments. Thank you for the skill, resilience, and compassion you bring every day. In recognition of Wear Blue in the ICU Day, our Chief Medical Officer of Sound Critical Care, Dr. Sergio Zanotti, reflects on what it means to build a Fearless ICU—where psychological safety, trust, and teamwork empower clinicians to deliver the highest level of care when it matters most. Read Dr. Zanotti’s article to learn more about the power of the Fearless ICU: https://bit.ly/4nv0RrX Together, let’s celebrate the teams who show up on life’s hardest days.
May is Critical Care Awareness Month, a time to recognize the teams who show up in life’s most critical moments Across our organization and alongside hospital partners nationwide, critical care is powered by collaboration. Physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and many others work together. They are supported by clinical, operational, and administrative colleagues to deliver uncompromising care when it matters most. It takes every role, every perspective, and every connection to make a meaningful difference for patients and families. Today and all month long, we’re proud to honor the collaboration, resilience, and dedication of our critical care team.
Care isn’t just what happens clinically—it’s what patients feel at every step of their stay. That experience doesn’t happen by chance. In our latest blog, Patient experience, by design, we share how intentional care models, aligned teams, and local leadership come together to create care that feels clearer, calmer, and more personal—for patients and families alike. Read the blog to see what care by design looks like in practice.
We’re proud to celebrate the SoundStrong Foundation, a colleague assistance fund rooted in supporting one another when it matters most. Through the generosity and compassion of our clinicians and colleagues, SoundStrong offers support during moments of hardship. From financial assistance to guidance with navigating legal challenges, medical bills, and other overwhelming circumstances, we ensure that no one has to face difficult moments alone. In 2025, SoundStrong continued to make a meaningful difference through grants that helped with recovery from natural disasters, the management of medical emergencies, and the weathering of other unforeseen challenges. These moments of support reflect the strength of our culture and our commitment to taking care of one another. Thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, and champions this mission. Together, we are SoundStrong.
