The CCS Companies are proud to announce that three (3) CCS programs won awards at the recent HR.com conference in Oakland California! Our Spotlight recognition platform won the first-place award for ‘Best Reward and Recognition Program’ and both our SAIL (Seeking Advancements in Leadership) and LEAD (Leadership, Exploration and Development) won 2nd Place for ‘Best Coaching and Mentoring Program’ and 3rd Place for ‘Best Leadership Development Program’, respectively. HR.com is the largest network of Human Resources (HR) professionals, tasked with establishing best practices, driving innovation and the overall advancement of HR. Its awards, recognize and celebrate outstanding HR and leadership programs. We are particularly proud of Spotlight, which as mentioned, debuted in 1st Place. Spotlight was launched in August 2020 to facilitate our efforts to continuously reward and recognize our hardworking associates. It is additionally meaningful that the idea and pre-work for Spotlight came from a SAIL team’s Capstone project. Carolyn Haigh, Director, Process Engineering and Marc Hutton, Manager, Business Process were a part of the three-person SAIL team, ‘Get to the Point!’ that worked on a project to purchase and deploy a reward and recognition program at CCS. CCS is committed to developing all of its associates with its people-centric programs and is pleased that these programs are getting recognized and being viewed as the standard for others to emulate.

The CCS Companies is once again partnering with Toys For Tots this Holiday Season for our Annual Toy Drive!
The CCS Companies are proud to announce that CCS’ SAIL mentoring program was recently named ‘Best Coaching and Mentoring Program’ by HR.com. HR.com is the largest network of Human Resources (HR) professionals, tasked with establishing best practices, driving innovation and the overall advancement of HR. The SAIL program (SAIL) was launched in June 2016 to create a mentoring program to nurture talented associates and create leadership bench strength at CCS. Associates admitted into this intensive program are paired with mentors and provided with training which includes courses such as: public speaking, statistics & data analysis and business acumen, and work on teams to create and present a capstone project. 53 associates have participated in the SAIL program, with the most recent class graduating in February 2024. 64% of these associates have changed roles since participating in SAIL with 56% of those changes being an increase in leadership responsibilities. SAIL requires cooperation across the organization and relies on the goodwill of numerous leaders to act as mentors, sponsor projects, provide job shadow opportunities and train. This award is a tribute to the program’s administrator, Lisa Reinhardt, executive sponsors and all of the leaders that have contributed to help make the program what it is. CCS is committed to developing all of its associates and is proud to be selected as the winner of this prestigious award.
In 2019 The CCS Companies received the ‘Best Mentoring Program’ award from HR.com for its SAIL (Seeking Advances in Leadership) mentoring program! SAIL was established to grow our internal talent by providing participants with leadership training and developmental opportunities. This award comes on the heels of receiving two other awards in 2018 – ‘Best First Time Manager Program’ and ‘Innovation in Deployment of Leadership Programs’ for our leadership development program – LEAD.
