The countdown to #NationalKetoDay starts NOW! Yep, you read that right! We officially registered January 5th as National Keto Day, and we’re gearing up to make it one exciting, fat-fueled holiday. On Saturday, January 5th, share your favorite keto meal, snack, supplement, or success story on social media with the hashtag #NationalKetoDay. For every post, we’ll donate $5 to Blessings In a Backpack, a non-profit organization that helps provide weekend meals to schoolchildren in need. We’ll also be sampling loads of new keto products in-store on Saturday, January 5th and Sunday, January 6th—so make sure to swing by your local The Vitamin Shoppe to give them a try!
Positivity can go a long way!
This holiday season, The Vitamin Shoppe helped the organization SOCKs ROCK donate a record-breaking amount of socks to the homeless. SOCKs ROCK was created three years ago by our regional vice president, Todd Northcutt, and his son, Chase. Todd wanted to teach Chase the importance of giving back to those less fortunate, and after some research, found the number one requested item at homeless shelters is clean, warm socks. What started out as a small way to teach Chase the value of giving and helping others turned into a yearly collection. For its part, The Vitamin Shoppe collected over 1600 socks, and in total, over 3,000 socks were sent to Maslow's Army, a Cincinnati organization that provides services to help the homeless get back on their feet with job placement and housing. We’re thrilled to have contributed to such a wonderful cause! Way to go, Chase and Todd!
Happy Monday! If you want to be able to show up for others, you’ve got to first show up for yourself. Don't forget self-care this #HealthyHoliday season!
