Thumbtack has hired our very first Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Llibert Argerich, as well as our first Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Mark Poston! Llibert joins us from Udemy where he most recently served as the SVP of Marketing, responsible for the entirety of the consumer strategy. And Mark joins us from Wayfair where he was most recently Vice President of Sales and Home Services.

We recently partnered with SuitUp Incorporated to host an innovative virtual business competition for middle and high school students. Four teams of 6 students and 6 coaches from Thumbtack were tasked with creating a hypothetical TikTok campaign that promotes Thumbtack to new homeowners. 🏡 The winning students received a cash prize and their Thumbtack coaches will have bragging rights for the year! 🏆

As part of Ally Month, we hosted a cook-along with Angela Chou, owner of Green Chow Down and Thumbtack pro. Angela did a live cooking demonstration of a Filipino, Canadian and U.S. dish — or “fusion” dish. The featured recipe that was created for our event was Filipino fried tofu over waffles with maple syrup and honey butter.
