With the help of 130 volunteers, we were able to pre-package Thanksgiving Day meals and deliver them to more than 700 senior citizens in Cedar Rapids. One woman drove all the way from Garrison just to help out . “I always think it’s a good idea to focus on helping others, for Christmas, it’s a really big part of what we do. We try to always do something to help other people. So we thought being thankful for all we have, it would be nice to help people who don't have as much as we do,” Amie Price, a volunteer said. This is the 38th year Transamerica has sponsored this Thanksgiving Day event. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQDQS
