Transamerica’s adoption benefits have earned it a spot on the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption 2015 100 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces list. Rankings are based on the combination of financial assistance and paid leave offered to employees who adopt. Transamerica’s adoption benefits offer eligible employees up to $5,000 in reimbursable financial assistance and a maximum of six weeks paid and unpaid leave (12 weeks total). Paid leave is also available for foster parents. Transamerica is proud to offer adoption benefits to eligible employees as part of our comprehensive benefits package.
Transamerica proudly supported two athletes -- tennis player Adilson Silva from Brazil and track-and-field athlete Sanne Jone Hoedeman from the Netherlands -- in the recent 2015 Special Olympics World Games. The 2015 Special Olympics World Games were held from July 25 – August 2 in Los Angeles and welcomed more than 6,500 Special Olympics athletes from 165 countries to compete in 25 Olympic-type sports. Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed in the 2015 Special Olympics World Games!
