UNC Medical Center is hiring a Cytogenetic Technologist in Chapel Hill! This position is full time and is a day shift. This position processes clinical specimens from patients who are referred for cancer or constitutional cytogenetic diagnosis. The processing will include accessioning the specimen into the laboratory, tissue culture, harvesting or preparing the cells for analysis, slide preparation and staining, microscope analysis, imaging, cell karyotyping and preparation of diagnostic result reports. Candidate will be responsible for a weekend rotation, usually one Saturday every two months, and for rotating holiday coverage. FISH experience is greatly preferred.

This position is responsible for the overall HR data management strategy and administration, in addition to the HR customer experience. This position is also responsible for HR data governance, ensuring compliance, data integrity, control, audits and validation. The Director of HR Data and Customer Experience will also oversee the employees who support the HR portal and HR data administration. Seven (7) years of experience in a progressively responsible role in Human Resources/Data Information Systems, including 5 years of leadership experience, is required. Experience with iNFOR and Service Now are preferred.
