We’re hiring experienced RN’s for our Burn Center (BICU), Acute Burn and Wound Unit (5 East), Intermediate Surgical Care Unit (ISCU), and Lower GI Surgery Acute Care Unit (6 East). UNC Medical Center is now hiring an RN Clinical Nurse II for our 4 West - Medical Surgical Observation unit in Chapel Hill. 4 West is a 12-bed unit which provides care to a varied adult population predominately including surgical patients under observation, extended recovery from PACU, and medical surgical acute care patients awaiting an inpatient bed assignment. This is a fast paced environment that requires a great deal of interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork. Nurses will also cross-train to staff 1 Memorial, a 25-bed Medical Observation unit which provides care to a varied adult medical patient population awaiting further treatment, an inpatient bed or extended observation.
