Giving back to others is part of our service legacy. We want to give special recognition to a team that recently earned an internal Service Stories award for making a difference. For many years, our team in EMEA has supported a small school in Kenya. Thanks to this team’s passion, we recently extended our support. The education and nutrition program will help the school create a kitchen garden and provide school books and uniforms to ensure the school’s children have a reliable source of daily food and all they need to learn. Our operations in Brazil are taking Climate Action seriously by recently switching our light fleet to ethanol fuel. Ethanol comes from renewable sources, depending only on cultivation. From initial planting in rural areas, jobs are being created at all stages of production. During manufacture and use it emits 73% less gas than non-renewable fossil fuels. Plus it is lower cost and helps to keep car engines cleaner for longer.
