When March ends, we will know who is eligible for our quarterly perfect attendance prize drawing. We reward our employees with perfect attendance not only with monthly drawings for cash, but each quarter there is a large prize drawing. This quarter, employees with perfect attendance January through March will be eligible to win this awesome patio furniture set to enjoy this summer!

This week we have an employee celebrating an amazing 33 years with our company! Alan Atwood started with us on March 14, 1988 and remains a significant contributor to our business as an Industrial Design Engineer. UPC needs to give a huge shout out to Alex Bonk, our CNC Programmer. Alex was talking with a friend and heard their company was in need of some product for their day to day operations. Alex knew we could fill the need and referred them to UPC which resulted in a sale! We can't thank Alex enough for representing the UPC brand so positively that it had a direct financial impact on our business.

Yesterday, UPC made an exciting announcement....we have promoted Eric Fosdal into the role of Plant Manager! Eric has been a loyal and hard working employee with us since 2003, most recently leading our Warehouse and Shipping Department. We are delighted to promote from within and to see the continued improvements to our plant under his leadership. Congratulations, Eric!

UPC was excited to announce to our employees today that we will be transitioning to a new bank for our 401k plan. This move will ensure fees stay low and investments are competitive to support our team's financial wellness. Our company remains passionate about providing a strong program for our team's financial health where UPC’s contribution is a 50% match to any 401k plan contributions employees make up to 6% of their total compensation.
