Annually, during the month of February, we recognize and celebrate the achievements of African Americans and honor the significant role and impact they have made on all facets of life and society throughout history. We are aware that it’s not enough to just talk about it. Our teams have been working internally in the hopes of inspiring external action and forward progress. In an effort to better understand the needs of our employees, we have taken action through virtual listening sessions in which employees lent their voices and shared their lived experiences. These listening opportunities have informed the creation of our first two Employee Resource Groups this year – an African American ERG and a Women’s ERG. ERGs are an integral component to our commitment to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. We’re looking forward to the networking, mentorship, and community engagement these will contribute to our team and our culture. #BlackHistoryMonth

We celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the simulated Veritiv storefront at the Junior Achievement Discovery Center in Gwinnett.
