Team members at our Parsippany, N.J. office collected more than 300 children’s books to donate to Bridge of Books, a local organization that provides books to children in underserved communities throughout New Jersey to support the development of literacy skills and encourage a love of reading. We then encouraged our team members’ children to help us give back and create colorful bookmarks to place in the books as part of our recent Kids’ Day program. A great way to display our core value of Caring for the communities where we live and work – while adding some creative Fun!

In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth our EMPOWER ERG recently partnered with Dress for Success® Northern NJ – 10 Counties in support of its mission to help unemployed and underemployed women achieve economic independence by providing no-fee programs, development tools and professional attire to thrive in work and in life. Our team members spent two days helping sort and organize clothes, shoes and toiletry donations at their local boutique in preparation for an upcoming sale. #MyWyndham.

During a Build-a-Hand activity, team members joined forces to follow intricate steps fostering collaboration, teamwork, and a deep sense of empathy to build 15 prosthetic hands. Each hand will be donated to someone who does not have access to a prosthetic device – a great reminder of the real-world difference we can make together! #MyWyndham

Our volunteers reorganized their food pantry, helped write and stamp more than 1,000 holiday greeting cards, prepped for a holiday food giveaway and built bikes to give as gifts for clients and their families.
