Last week, we opened our first Ohio location outside of Cleveland in Strongsville! hg #52 and another big milestone for 2024! A huge congrats to this team for their hard work and dedication to opening this restaurant. Meet Jeff, one of our incredible honeygrow leaders whose journey with honeygrow is nothing short of inspiring. Starting as a General Manager at our 11th Street location, Jeff now serves as District Manager for Delaware and Southern New Jersey. His favorite dish? The CYO Stirfry with egg white noodles, chicken, bacon, onions, tomatoes, spinach, spicy garlic, parsley, and breadcrumbs! For Jeff, the most rewarding part of working at honeygrow is watching his team members grow and succeed in their new roles. A firm believer in the core value "always be learning, always be improving," he knows there's always room for growth. We're thrilled to share that 2023 marked a monumental year for honeygrow. Record-Breaking Success: Achieved a remarkable 30% revenue growth year-over-year from 2022. Attained an impressive 22% store-level EBITDA in 2023. Expanded to 40 locations across our seven-state footprint, growing by 30%. Reported our third profitable year on a net income basis since inception, despite rapid expansion costs. Sustainable Growth & Financial Stability: Added 17 new locations over the past three years, maintaining a debt-free status. Self-funded new restaurant expansion, demonstrating less than two-year payback since 2020. Experienced menu innovation driving positive sales, with seasonal launches like the Chesapeake Crab Stir-fry performing exceptionally well. Investing in People & Community: Hired 300 team members, surpassing 1,000 employees. Continued implementation of our Elite General Manager (EGM) program to foster talent growth and retention. Continued focus on community initiatives, supporting over 700 organizations through donations in 2023. Looking ahead, we are excited to have over a dozen planned openings in 2024, staying committed to innovation and customer excellence.
