There are several health insurance options to choose from, and the co-pay is taken out of your bi-weekly paycheck.

Healthcare premiums are twice as expensive (for higher earners) as in tech/software companies in the area. Dental care appears similarly priced, but coverage levels are less than half what my prior employer provided. Details about health (and dental, behavioral) coverage info is hard to find on Aetna's website (files/pages do not load) and on Cengage's internal web site. Overall, you can expect to pay twice as much for healthcare as you would at software companies in the area.

Great difficulty with prescription drug management. Constant battle with Aetna to issue prescriptions, requiring multiple follow ups from physician.

We used to have Blue Cross PPO but now it's Aetna. Decent coverage but nothing like it used to be. I blame the ACA more than Cengage.
