They just put you on the floor with little to no training and expect you to know what you are doing.

I work in a professional role so we support those on our team who want additional training. I also work above the area where a significant amount of Job Training occurs for Store Managers. It is a big area of focus for the company and the training is very comprehensive. The fact that some of this training entails baking and sharing amazing food and desserts does however cause me to be hungry, join in and sometimes eat too much :)

Training at the home office was really good there seem to be some really great people there but once you get in the field then things are very very different

The tests you have to take and the online training is so terrible. Once you pass all of the tests it gets better as the 4stars start training you and you get hands on training.

Cracker Barrel makes you do extensive training on the computer. You earn your stars by doing more training and test.

Depends on who you have training you. Some are better than others and if you want consistent training, ask to be trained with the same person every time or you'll hear too many different things.

I learned so much here. I was trained as a server, a host, cashier, retail and prep cook. I am able to do all of them efficiently

They should just train you to be a grill cook and cashier
