Job Training

"Butterburger University" is an online set of training videos, which is helpful. On-the-job training is pretty crappy, because the managers are all working the line with the other employees and cannot take time to show you what to do. It was several days before I even knew details of the most basic janitorial job there. No one showed me where the employee bathroom was. I had to learn the cash register from other employees catch-as-catch-can and after being there for several months there is still stuff on the register I don't know about. New employees stand around looking clueless and there's a lot of turn-over.

The people are very friendly and easy to work with so it's easy to learn things. People that work there are very knowledgeable so you can ask almost anything.

I do like the training, but you get paid to sit in front of a computer and watch these extremely lengthy slides about the workplace. It's all a bit foolish to me, I'd speed them up.

if your sharp then you should be okay. will sometimes reflect a trial by fire experience but like i said if your sharp, prepared and reasonably handy and have a good get inspired mindset you'll be fine

Training should be longer for managers.

BBU's are awesome, you climb the ladder of jobs, some jumping right into stuff

The GM tries to get everyone trained in, but most of the time people end up getting thrown into the middle of a rush without being fully trained.

Paid hourly for job training. Online and in store.

Trainers get the employees motivated, and they keep a friendly environment.
