Takes a long time to get fully vested. They also don't do their match until late into the following year (they pocket the interest gained).

Match is small (often 3%)

They'll partially match your contribution up to a certain amount

1/2 of first 6% match (up to 3% match). However, the vesting schedule for the matched amount is the LEGALLY MANDATED MINIMUM. You keep none of it if you don't stay for 2 years and then it vests: 20% at 2yr anniversary 40% at 3yr anniversary 60% at 4 yr anniversary 100% at 5 yr anniversary

50% matching of up to 6% - Not huge relative to the rest of the industry, but valuable nonetheless. Lots of options and free financial consulting to boot.

Match half of the employee's contribution at the end of the year, but the matched portion is no more than 3% of the salary.
