Not much to get from them. Must be full time to even think of getting benefits

You get two weeks of vacation and one week of sick time. That is more than most companies give you. The medical benefits suck, but that is with everything after this Obamacare crap. The dental is really good through Delta.

5 paid holidays, no breavement days, only 5 sick days for the first 5 years and you can not carry them over.

Not really anything too great here. Employee discount can be nice sometimes. Dental and medical is alright. No vision.

-Health Insurance: For as large of a company that Fastenal is, the benefits package is very slim. Standard Health and Dental, but no Eye Insurance. Premiums are incredibly high, especially for a company with 20,000 employees. The quality of the Health/Dental insurance is terrible. -Profit Sharing: The 401K money match is a profit-sharing program that takes a page worth of calculations to determine the dollar amount and its only done after the end of the calendar year. -Company Perks: There are none. Any perks that used to be around, they have done away with.

I was a part time employee so I didn't have any benefits except employee discounts available online. I never used them but I could have because they had discounts at almost every major store.

No commission for part time employees

Full time gets fairly adequate medical and dental benefits. 401k investments get a decent match up to $5,000 once year.
