6 weeks paid paternity leave is a big plus. Other benefits are average.

Health insurance seems to be less than it used to be but they offset that by giving hourly workers an amount of money to help with deductible.

Health insurance is competitive, but seems to be changing year to year into something less.
401k is very good for this region. GE took away pension and replaced it with an additional 3% 401k contribution.
"Unlimited Vacation" with manager approval. Not sure how may weeks you can actually get. I started with 3 and it was difficult to get it all in.
GE just eliminated annual raises in favor of on the spot rewards like gift cards, etc. So do not look to get a raise anytime soon.

Very solid benefits package. In my division, vacation is taken as needed/wanted and is not tracked.

High deductible benefits plan changed in 2010. No defined pension for new hires. New hires have option to invest additional funds in 401K that will be matched at a higher percentage than defined pension employees.
