GE benefits

I have worked for several companies, and the benefits at GE are among the best. My direct manager was kind and professional.

Best thing - pension, 401K Worst - health care,

company perks, lap top, time off, sick days, training tuition reimbursement, maternity leave, reasonable, cost, low co-pay, flexible work hours, responsive HR

About 3 years ago, GE moved to a high deductible insurance plan for its employees that requires out of pocket expenses of $5,000 or more each year before insurance actually begins to help pay at all. It requires employees and families to only go to participating hospitals and tries to force use of certain pharmacies.

Every year we get 2 weeks vacation in the summer plus we have vacation days we can take when ever we want.

Pay a lot of out of pocket, wage works plan that is in place is awful

There are many options in which level plan you want based on your health care needs. They have vision and dental , as well as FSA and HRA. The downside is the high deductible you pay out of pocket before the 80/20 kicks in.

Vacation is permissive at the management level, so you can theoretically take as much as you want..goof luck with that though

Good coverage options, but sometimes hard to actually get compensated.
