GE strives to provide competitive employee benefits packages in the regions and industries in which we have a presence. Our wide range of employee services, retirement, health and other benefit plans are designed to help eligible employees make the best decisions for themselves, their family, and their lifestyle.
The best benefits was the flexible work schedule, 401k, paid vacation and health and dental benefits for a family. I didn't find the employee discount a try discount. You can find better deals on other websites for the same product or services.

3% 401k contribution after 3 years with the company, but they match 4% to your 8% in the meantime. It ain't no pension. You get $1k out of the chute, but the health plans are expensive with a high deductible and personal limit.

non-salary benefits because the salary when you start out is much lower than competing companies, which is why GE consistently gets lower quality employees and has to field a diversity-overboard team

New full time employee get 3 weeks vacation time. This is better than other companies I have worked for. It has an average medical insurance, but dental insurance is good. 401K plan is offered.

Health benefits are high deductible plans to encourage employees to "take control" of their healthcare costs. For a company that once took care of their employees, GE has certainly changed their benefits to be no better than any other company.

Medical Insurance is not great-Even the best plan has high deductible & out of pocket costs
401K contributions are miniscule
