GE strives to provide competitive employee benefits packages in the regions and industries in which we have a presence. Our wide range of employee services, retirement, health and other benefit plans are designed to help eligible employees make the best decisions for themselves, their family, and their lifestyle.
The benefits package is good as an Intern, you get relocation for housing and transportation if needed.

Good pay for internship, provided housing stipend and travel expenses. Didn't offer holiday pay to interns and interns in manufacturing had to take off without pay for plant shutdown week.

There is no vacation cap for senior prof band and up. You can take as much as you like. For lower bands you get 3 weeks.+ 5 personal days + 5 sick days. Vacation bumps to 4 weeks after 5 years.

When I worked there (I don't think it's like this anymore), we got offered a pension plan. I think they do greater 401k matching now, which provides greater benefits to those who don't stay employed by GE long enough to become vested under the old policy.

Work life balance as long as you make it a known priority. Otherwise, they will drain you dry if you allow it.
