GE strives to provide competitive employee benefits packages in the regions and industries in which we have a presence. Our wide range of employee services, retirement, health and other benefit plans are designed to help eligible employees make the best decisions for themselves, their family, and their lifestyle.
The package is relatively standard. It would be nice to have an employee stock purchase plan.

The best part about the benefits at GE was that that it was very affordable.

There are tons of optional benefits available, however they can add up quickly if you are not careful. Most are reasonably priced

The amount of paid time off for salaried employees is great! Dental, vision, life insurance and 401k are wonderful. Healthcare benefits are very expensive and required large amounts of out of pocket expenses.

The offer all the usual benefits. The problem is the employee pays for them, Very little company participation.
