Depending on who is training you, it can be very helpful. I was shown many different selling techniques when I first started to help me along.

The GNC online university program is a joke. It does not prepare you with enough information to become successful. I had to take an outside certification program in Retail Operations to better understand my management duties. I received zero training when I became a manager. All of my supplement and nutrition knowledge is based on my own research, not from training with GNC.

Job Training was easy. The employees and manager were there to assist you if you had any questions. Plus you had to read about the supplements from their "online school"
