Employee Discounts

The discount was for 10% off games in the store. It use to stack with Used games. Now, not so much.

It's only 15% off. It does stack with the membership card, that you had to buy unless you were a store manager. The employee discount, combined with the membership discount added up to 25% off pre-owned items. Not bad, not the best.

When you first start working there and find out you get a discount you get pretty excited. Well it's inly 15% of you're that good at math it usually only covers taxes and maybe a $1-2 more. Saving $6 off of a $60 game isn't that helpful.

It's 15%, which is better than nothing.

It is available from day 1

It's not the best but it's better than nothing. You can't use it on new systems which makes you feel like the company doesn't trust you.

The discount is great, especially when buying used products because it stacks with the PowerUp Rewards Pro discount. However Best Buy recently one-upd them by offering a membership at $30 bi-annually that gives the general public 20% off brand new games as well as 10% of used games.

Applied to both new and used products.
