I think that it's good.

You must take initial initiative but once you do so many beginning level assistant managers and managers are ready to take you under their wing and teach you all that you want to learn.

Depends on the store and the position. I worked in many departments on was only trained in a few of them.

Not enough time in training is offered. Training programs cut short

For part time employees, the training is good. It is not too difficult to bring a person up to speed on the latest methodology of filling grocery bags with groceries and serving as a jovial emissary to every Hy-Vee patron.

It was super fast and easy. They never were rude or made you feel awkward.

Very quick, not detailed enough

Not very good at all it could be different everywhere so I can't speak for all stores but I would say below average
