Excellent 401k plan with lots of choices for funds. Good matching, but there isn't a separate pension plan. However, the matching is only provided at the end of the year - reduces the benefit since the matching funds don't compound throughout the year.

Because I was using my wife's health benefits at that time, I wasn't very familiar with IBM health benefits. The 401k match is pretty good.

They matched a decent amount, but it was given at the end of the year so if you were getting fired they would do it before the money was put in your account.
