Plan matches up to 6%

Company holds off the match until end of December. Employees lose the match if not employed at the end of year.

Pretty good. A lot of options and from top rated companies like Vanguard which has low expenses and good amount of choices. A good matching program. There is a catch however: a few years ago they changed from matching every pay check to matching once a year on December 31 if you still work there. So if you leave close to the end of the year you lose the entire match for that year. Ouch.

Employer matching is ok, but not as good as it once was. New employees coming in get very little, if any match.

They'll match after your second year but with our plummentnig stock everyone changes their rate.

Company 401(k) match is average. Excellent investments options through Fidelity.

The 401k plan at IBM is very flexible. I can't say much more about it.

It's not the very best market performance

100% match on the first 6%

Adequate 401k match, if you happen to be with the company the entire year. There is no 401K per pay period, company match is provided in mid-December.
