A good number of options for plans. Price has gone up a lot in past few years.

IBM tries to make the employee's health minimal to zero cost, but will shift costs over to any dependents added on to the plan.

Standard options including free options. I've seen better but there are definitely worse.

Best thing is Options, Worst thing are the Coverages

cost for family is expensive.

after the move to global foundry's i found the IBM healthcare package was horribly over priced for what it was i spend 40$ /PM and get a low 20$ normal visits 30$ specialist visists and 100$ ER co pay IBM did give you 30$ to waive your healthcare....

Good Health Insurance, several plans to chose f rom

Very little bureaucracy / paperwork. Great phone support. A bit hard to access it if you don't know the right codes to get in.
