I was very surprised to find that the health insurance rates for IBM were not as good as those offered by a significantly smaller company. Work from home is something I really liked, but now we are driven back to work in a traditional office. Since I do not work near an IBM site, I fear this means I will lose my job.

The healthcare is excellent for young single employees and comes at no cost. When you grow a little older and start a family the the insurance cost explode but the level of cover is very good.
