I see a lot of effort, but I don't know how and if their intent will change the industry and the company. Hopefully the diversity effort results in more US employment and less outsourcing.

Fired my friends to fund the new diversity program. $300M in salary cuts --> $300M diversity program. That doesn't make people feel happy and accepting. As a non-minority, I am concerned that this quota system will interfere with my ability to grow my career. Rather than forcing a bell curve, why not make the work place a place where a working mother won't have to sacrifice their family's well being?

Intel has put in an active program to diversify its work force, by driving recruitment efforts, but also by investing in minority owned businesses through Intel Capital. Intel is backing this conversations with resources to ensure that it reaches its stated goals
