Health Insurance

The insurance offered by Intermountain is great. It offers a few high-deductible plans, as well as low deductible. Most of the plans are 80/20 coverage after deductible, and offer HSA/FSA benefits as well.

The lowest tier of intermountain's health plans is generous bu other company's standards

The health insurance is average for the nation. It's your basic high deductible plan, but they do pay into the health saving account which is nice. I'm always interested in that healthcare workers aren't offered a little better insurance plan.

They do give you the option to get a lot of help with insurance.

Health insurance is very affordable. $80/month for $3k deductible family plan with HSA. $320 for family insurance that covers any provider, in our out of network

Currently still offering a pension plan with 401(k) matching funds as well.

Access to many different providers without needing additional appointments. Ample in network providers that are accessible and knowledgable. Would recommend to all.

Uses SelectHealth, which is more or less the same institution with different branding. Good provider coverage and service quality is high. Reasonable plans.

Prescription copays or premiums go up every year. It's either one or the other.
