Health Insurance

Their health insurance is so reasonable and the coverage is great - especially if you like Intermountain Hospitals - which in my opinion are the best.

They allow you to choose from a few different plans, but the premiums are so high, you feel as though you are forced to choose the high deductible plan because they take so much in premiums, that one is the lowest.

Plan is limited and employers portion is less than I would expect from this level of organization.

Expensive. Force you to use their hospitals and pharmacies. You need a prior authorization for everything. Charge you $100 a month extra to cover your wife or husband.

They pay majority, making it very affordable!

I have not used it so i do not know about it. I was an intern not a full time employee. Benefits are only for full time employees

Considering they have their own insurance company, you would figure the employee plans would be a bit more... Luxe.

The health insurance plan at Intermountain Healthcare is great, I feel very secure for me and my family. I consider myself a very smart person, but the billing process is very overwhelming and confusing. It would be so much easier if they would just have 1 bill as opposed to 10 for 1 event.
