Decent plan you need to select what suites u

Keeps track well of what is accrued

Gets worse every year. Less and less.

I was lucky enough to start before they dropped the pension plan.

It’s good for my needs

C-suite used to receive a SERP plan with annual employer contributions that vested in 3 years. Contributions were generous, around 15% of base salary, However, withe recent financial challenges this benefit has been rescinded. System executives have kept it, but care site execs have not.

They do offer a retirement plan.

It was great can not complain

They have a pension that they contribute to on your behalf, but it's not "fixed payout." It's fixed contribution, or something close to it. If you're younger I believe they contribute a little less, I think anticipating that it will have more time to grow.
