Most companies do not offer this any more. You do need to stay with the company to reap the benefits.

They offer two retirement plans. The lump sum plan or the monthly installment. I have never known them to do retirement incentives. They offer retirement planning and counseling which is helpful when you are getting close to that point in your career.

There is no longer a pension offered to new hires. You used to be fully vested with 5 years of service. So if you had it before you don't lose it, but again, not offered any longer to new people coming on.
