associate discount is only 15% should be higher since they don't pay well. Other retailers are paying higher than Texas minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.

If Loss Prevention management suspects you abuse the employee discount policy, regardless of how little actual poof they have, they will try very hard to terminate your employment. You are assumed to be guilty and have to prove your innocence, which is not a pleasant experience.

You get a 15 percent off as well as associate days where you can stack coupons, but you can't use any credit card. You can only pay with cash, Kohl's charge, or check. You can get around the credit card thing by first purchasing a gift card, though.

There's a 15% discount on merchandise by default, just know that you can only pay with Cash, Check, Gift Card, Store Credit, or Kohls Charge Card. (No debit or credit, though you can buy a gift card with these to use instead.) This discount is bumped up to 35% a few times a year for a weekend, and you can usually combine it with other coupons.

15% isn't a whole lot considering what we have to go through on a day to day basis

The discount itself was pretty small, but you could add it to any ongoing sales, such as the 15/20/30% deal or 20% family and friends periods. Kohl's always has sales, so your discount is almost always more than 15.
