All health plans were Blue Cross Blue Shield, deductible plans were on the average to high end, Co-pay plans were relatively good. Employee contributions were inexpensive for one person. Offered dental, vision, and legal insurance. Prescription plan was frustrating because it could only be used at a Kroger affiliated stores. Offered base life insurance for free, could upgrade if you wanted to pay. Overall decent benefits. Maternity pay was difficult to maneuver for a store level, hourly employee. Sick pay was almost impossible to use, but was constantly building. Bereavement pay was limited to immediate family members only.
