Kroger benefits

Kroger is a family friendly environment that accepts all individuals and they take good care of their employees.

What benefit package. I applied for a full time job, but was offered a part time job without benefits. I also applied for a better paying job, and was contacted by Kroger's corporate HR office about a better paying job. But when I went into the local store for an interview, I was told that the only positions available were for courtesy clerks at minimum wage. I was asked by the manager if I was on social security. I guess to make sure the low pay and lack of health benefits was "OK". (The manager was very nice, but this "policy" was misguided.)

I'm not sure, still a minor and don't know much about the Benefits offered in Kroger stores. Many people complain here so I doubt it can't be all that great.

You qualify for health insurance even if you are part time IF your store is apart of a union like mine.

Best thing are the people you work with and the people you meet. Worst thing if anything is the pay. For the work you do tbe pay was good but you always want more

Mostly hiring part-time, which gives no benefits at all.
