as a part time employee you receive 1 week vacation (after a year) based on the hours you are SCHEDULED weekly (which is never accurate when you are called in on your days off) so your vacation hours will likely be a lot less than what you actually work. 2 personal days for an entire YEAR is a joke. the employee discount is okay. no real benefits unless you're full time but kroger doesn't want to make anyone full time because they are cheap. do not join the union because they don't offer any real benefits and it is almost impossible to get out of the union contract and the fees are ridiculous when you barely make above minimum wage. the health insurance benefits are the only decent thing kroger has to offer as well as the scholarship program for students.

Paid vacation but max out at 2 weeks. Medical, dental, vision coverage after eligibility met. Insurance only for part time employees no family coverage until hours requirement but that is hard to obtain then made hard to keep.

You always start off as part-time then after a year you can bump up to full time.
Health Insurance only when your full time.
Once you have work a year at Kroger's you will be able to have a 4-6 week paid vacation.
