401K and paid time off very competitive; health insurance profile is changing to one that requires action from employees, which isn't a bad thing, but can create a bit of a stir.

Best: comprehensive
Worst: been getting more stingy since LabCorp acquired Covance

Healthcare benefits in one word - terrible. Costs double for less than half the coverage of the old plan. Healthcare facilities in the area won't even take the insurance. PTO and holidays are good but doesn't offset the healthcare disaster. Employees now spend more time just trying to manage this terrible plan.
Positives are the PTO, retirement and ESPP.

The best thing was the 401K, health benefits; worst thing was very limited PTO and vacation
